Kia ora, we’re Auaha

We’re strategists and ideators, organisers and innovators

We partner with you to connect and empower an engaged event audience.

Connection is at the core of what we do – connecting people with others, connecting people with ideas, and connecting people with your brand. Our goal is to elevate business event experiences in Aotearoa; we’re generous with our knowledge and ideas, and happy to let our clients claim the kudos.

We take big picture ideas, and help you deliver them by drilling down on all the details you didn’t know you needed to consider. We know what those details are because we’ve got years of experience delivering professional business events behind us.

We’re an approved professional conference organiser (APCO) with a strong cultural focus. Our approach is to collaborate alongside you as a true partner to your business. And while we’re a tight-knit core team, we have the ability to scale to suit the size and complexity of your event, with the networks you need to pull it all together.

Our values drive us

The Inspiring Success of a 100% Virtual Event

Ako Panuku decided to meet the challenge head on and to have their Hui ā-Tau as a 100% virtual event. They were blown away by its success.

Ako Panuku is a Ministry of Education funded programme designed by Māori for Māori. The aim is to enhance Māori language proficiency in the classroom.

The Pivot to a Fully Virtual Event

Organised as an in-person event, a lockdown caused The Women in the Public Service Summit Wellington to pivot to a fully virtual event in a mere 4 days.

After The Women in the Public Service Wellington had to postpone their 2020 event, the new event would allow the 500 registrants to participate in person.

At the same time, we also allowed for a back-up plan that enabled them to pivot to a fully virtual event in case the pandemic threw another tantrum.

Little did they know they would count their lucky stars they made that decision….
